Relentless
Greatest songwriter in Miami for my generation, however I feel that I have songs that are meant to reach everyone and anyone. They are pure, from the heart&soul and know that my delivery based on my emotion is not seen. Its very authentic cause its real. This is my Life. My voice may be criticized b/c its not a marc anthony or mariah carey, however I know that but my songs still seem to have the same impact as if they were singing it because of where it comes from. The very roots of my soul.
; I go by the name of MathisBlue, and im from Miami, Fl. Originally from Southbridge, Mass. I’ve been a songwriter since my early years in middle school. I have a four year old boy that is the dearest person in my life. Early on in my music path when I was really into HipHop & R&B, I was selected for a Russel Simmons summit called ”How Can I be Down” in Miami, a little before i joined the Army. It was a good experience, I got to sit in and listen to many great people at seminars and other events they had going on for a week. I think that the timing was just not right plus i realized through the years that I did not want to be one hundred percent a HipHop artist sort to say. My talents go beyond that, my ear for music has always been at the top and quite honestly i have other visions with what I can do with my music and the type of songs I would like to create for whats been going on in the world lately. I dont take HipHop out of it, because i wouldnt mind helping or collabing to add something to another artist song/s. I feel I’ve been knocked down many times in my life however in my 26 years of living I hvae managed to pick myself up and keep moving forward despite if situations were greater than others and it took me longer. I have nothing to lose, and Im just done with working towards things in life where I know my heart is not at. This is my home. I was once told and this stuck with me like my morals in life, but I was told ” Have you ever see a fish, on the sand, or anywhere out of it realm, a boat, they are jumping, flipping they look wierd and out of place as if they dont belong, and quite ugly as well. However you put that in the water, ocean, in its environment and watch how beautiful that fish becomes. He is instantly in control and in attack mode as in he knows what to do and which direction he is headed in”. When I heard this it was just a reminder to myself of what I have always known that I have loved. Anyhow thier so much more but thier will be a time for that very soon. yours truly, MathisBlue.

I respect all music and artist because we never know what anyone has gone through so i just live my life as best as I can and try to be a better man everyday, physically,emotionally, and spiritually.
